SOLUTIONS CENTER LEADERSHIP
The Solutions Center is part of Northeast Business Group on Health, one of the nation’s most active and influential healthcare-focused business coalitions, with more than 200 member employer organizations, health plans, providers, consultants, pharmaceutical companies and other stakeholders. The coalition’s mission is to drive improvements in healthcare services and quality for consumers, while reducing costs for employers and other stakeholders.
Jeremy Nobel, MD, MPH
Jeremy Nobel, M.D., M.P.H., is Executive Director of the Solutions Center, as well as Medical Director for Northeast Business Group on Health. His work includes providing health policy insight to the landmark 1991 Institute of Medicine study that helped launch the Electronic Health Record (EHR) movement.
Dr. Nobel is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine with Master’s Degrees in Epidemiology and Health Policy from Harvard School of Public Health. He received his medical education at the University of Pennsylvania and completed his internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He is on the Board of Directors of the Care Continuum Alliance (CCA) and teaches as an adjunct faculty member the Harvard School of Public Health.
Laurel Pickering, MPH
Laurel Pickering, MPH is President and CEO of Northeast Business Group on Health, and over 20 years , has built NEBGH into one of the nation's most active and influential healthcare-focused business coalitions. She is key to setting the Solutions Center agenda, and plays an active role in the design and implementation of all Solutions Center projects.
Solutions Center Leadership Council
The Solutions Center Leadership Council will assure that the Center is focused on projects that can make the greatest difference for employers and employee health care. A Scientific Advisory Board will advise on research methods, approaches and partnerships.
